Our skirting boards are made by Orac in Duropolymer, a rigid, impact-resistant material, with flexible versions for curved walls. They are a lightweight, hard-wearing alternative to timber skirting.
Orac skirting resists moisture, knocks and everyday wear, and isn’t prone to the warping and splitting that can affect timber. It comes ready to paint and is quick to fit, which makes it ideal for renovations, new builds and refurbishments. Some profiles can also hide cables behind them.
Choose from Duropolymer skirting in simple modern and classic period styles, or flexible skirting for curved walls and bay windows, in a range of heights.
Most are made from Duropolymer, Orac’s rigid, impact-resistant material. The flexible versions are made from a bendable material so they can follow curved walls.
They are lighter, resist moisture and knocks, and aren’t prone to warping or splitting like timber. They also come ready to paint, so there is no sanding or priming before decorating.
Some Orac profiles have space behind them to run cables, giving a neater finish. Check the individual product page for details.
Yes. Our flexible skirting bends to follow curved walls and bay windows, and matches the style of the standard profiles.
It is fixed to the wall with adhesive, with the joints bonded together. We stock lightweight adhesives made for Orac mouldings.
