Orac Flexible Skirting

Our flexible skirting is made for the walls standard boards can’t follow: bay windows, curved walls, rounded corners and columns. Made from flexible polyurethane, it bends to the curve without losing its shape, so the profile stays crisp all the way round.

Each board is the flexible version of one of our Duropolymer skirting profiles, with the same code plus an F, so SX104F matches SX104. You can fit standard Duropolymer on the straight walls and switch to flexible only where the wall curves, with no change in profile. Boards are 2 metres long, in heights from 20mm to 250mm.

Flexible skirting comes primed and ready to paint, and many profiles include a channel at the back for cables. Once the joints are filled and painted, the straight and curved sections read as one continuous run.

Yes. Each flexible board has the same profile as the Duropolymer board with the same code, so SX183F matches SX183 and the two join seamlessly.

It suits most bay windows and curved walls. For a very tight curve or a column, send us the radius or diameter and we’ll check which profile will work.

Flexible boards are priced higher than the standard versions, so most people use them only on the curved sections and fit standard Duropolymer skirting on the straight walls.

Fix it with Orac DecoFix Pro on ordinary plastered walls and plasterboard in dry rooms, or DecoFix Power in damp rooms and on tiles or wallpaper. Press it into the curve and hold it in place while the adhesive grabs, then bond the joints with DecoFix Ultra. All three are in our lightweight adhesives range.
