Description
The Orac C307 Cornice is a large traditional profile with strong Victorian and Georgian character. Its generous size makes it ideal for period homes, high ceilings and larger rooms.
The design combines classic egg and dart detailing with decorative beading and strong architectural lines. These features create depth and shadow around the ceiling line.
Traditional Victorian and Georgian Style
The C307 suits interiors where you want a bold and decorative finish. Its traditional detailing works especially well in period properties and heritage-style interiors.
You can use it in dining rooms, entrance halls, drawing rooms, reception rooms and other formal spaces. It also works well in newer properties where you want to introduce a more classical appearance.
Large Decorative Cornice Profile
The C307 measures 195mm high with a 195mm projection. Each length measures 2 metres.
Its large proportions make it particularly suitable for rooms with higher ceilings. The profile creates a strong transition between the wall and ceiling without looking undersized.
The decorative pattern also produces attractive areas of light and shadow. This gives the cornice extra depth once installed and painted.
Lightweight Purotouch Cornice
Orac manufactures the C307 from Purotouch® high-density polyurethane. This lightweight material allows the profile to reproduce fine decorative detail.
Purotouch also makes the cornice easier to handle than traditional plaster mouldings. It offers good durability while keeping the detailed appearance expected from a traditional decorative cornice.
Primed and Ready for Painting
The C307 comes pre-primed and ready for its final paint finish.
You can paint it to match the ceiling, walls or surrounding mouldings. You can also repaint it later if you change the room’s colour scheme.
Complete the Traditional Look
The Orac C307 Cornice works well with ceiling roses, wall mouldings and other decorative architectural features.
For additional detail, you can also combine the C307 with compatible Orac decorative elements. This allows you to create a more elaborate period-style interior.
The C307 gives you the appearance of a substantial traditional cornice while retaining the practical benefits of a modern lightweight material.

- Lightweight products (Purotouch & Duropolymer): Flat-rate delivery charge applies. Orders over £500 qualify for free delivery.
- Plaster products: Hand-delivered by our own driver. Delivery cost is based on distance from our workshop.
- Samples & mitre boxes: Sent via parcel carrier or Royal Mail; charged at a lower rate than full plaster deliveries.
