Cavetto Plaster Cornice – Handmade in the UK
The C26 cavetto plaster cornice features a deep concave profile with a clean stepped edge, creating a strong and structured transition between wall and ceiling.
The smooth curve introduces a softer element, while the increased depth gives the profile greater presence. As a result, it provides a simple design with a more substantial architectural finish.
Each length is handmade in our Birmingham workshop using traditional fibrous plaster techniques. This produces a strong and durable cornice with a crisp, high-quality finish.
Suitable Properties and Room Types
With its deeper projection and bold profile, this cornice is best suited to rooms with medium to high ceiling heights, where its full shape can be appreciated.
It works particularly well in:
- Period and modern properties
- Larger living rooms and reception areas
- Open-plan spaces
- Hallways and staircases
- Renovation and refurbishment projects
In most cases, this profile performs best in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4 metres and above, where its depth remains proportionate.

The cavetto profile uses a smooth concave curve to create a clean and continuous transition between wall and ceiling.
This deeper version introduces more presence than smaller cavetto designs. Because of this, it works well in interiors that require a simple but more defined finish.
It avoids decorative detailing and instead relies on shape and proportion. As a result, it suits both traditional and modern interiors.

We hand–check and carefully pack all orders to ensure your cornice arrives in perfect condition. Delivery charges depend on the type of product in your basket:
- Lightweight products (Purotouch & Duropolymer): Flat-rate delivery charge applies. Orders over £500 qualify for free delivery.
- Plaster products: Hand-delivered by our own driver. Delivery cost is based on distance from our workshop.
- Samples & mitre boxes: Sent via parcel carrier or Royal Mail; charged at a lower rate than full plaster deliveries.
