LED Lighting Cornice & Coving

LED lighting cornice hides a strip of LED lights in a concealed channel, so the light washes softly across the ceiling or down the wall with no visible fittings. It is one of the simplest ways to add atmosphere to a living room, bedroom, kitchen or hallway, and it doubles as a decorative cornice.

All of our lighting profiles are made by Orac, mostly in Purotouch high-density polyurethane, with a few slimmer options in Duropolymer. They are lightweight, supplied primed in 2m lengths, and fixed with adhesive like the rest of the Orac range.

Depending on the profile, the light is directed up onto the ceiling, as with the compact C323 uplighting cornice, or down the wall; each product page explains which. Styles range from clean, minimal lines like the C380 to traditional curved designs like the C900. For curved walls and bay windows, the C373F, C901F and C902F are flexible.

The profile has a hidden channel along its length. An LED strip sits in the channel, out of sight, and the light reflects off the ceiling or wall to give an even, indirect glow.

Uplighting profiles direct light onto the ceiling, which makes a room feel taller and softer. Downlighting profiles direct light down the wall, which highlights textures, panelling or artwork.

Yes. Profiles such as the C900, C901 and C902 have classical curves, so the lighting is hidden inside a traditional-looking cornice.

Yes. The C373F, C901F and C902F are flexible and follow curved walls and bay windows.

Fit it with adhesive, the same way as standard lightweight cornice, and plan the cable route and power supply before fitting. We recommend using a qualified electrician for the lighting connection.
