Featured Project – Luxury Residential Property, St George’s Square, Worcester
Victorian Cornice Company was appointed to supply and install traditional plaster cornice as part of the refurbishment of a luxury residential property in St George’s Square, Worcester.
The work formed part of a high-end bathroom renovation, where the new plaster cornice needed to complement a carefully designed interior featuring marble finishes, brass detailing and traditional architectural features.
Our craftsmen supplied and installed the plaster cornice throughout the room, carefully forming the profile around the various changes in wall line, projecting sections and the marble shower enclosure. The numerous internal and external corners required accurate cutting, jointing and finishing to maintain a continuous profile throughout the space.
The cornice was handmade using traditional fibrous plaster techniques in our Birmingham workshop before being delivered to Worcester and professionally installed on site by our experienced team.
The completed installation demonstrates how traditional plaster cornice can be successfully incorporated into a contemporary luxury interior, adding architectural detail and helping to retain a sense of character within the finished room.
