Terms & Conditions, Delivery, Returns & Cancellations

1. Who these terms apply to

Consumers: individuals buying for personal use.
Business customers: any trade, company, or professional use. Different rights may apply.

2. Products & lead times

  • Lightweight products (polyurethane/duropolymer): usually dispatched within 3-5 working days. Delivery Mon–Fri, 8:00–18:00. Signature required.
  • Plaster products: made to order. Please allow up to 10 working days. We hand-deliver from our Birmingham workshop to protect the goods.

3. Delivery charges (UK only)

  • Lightweight products: £25 + VAT to UK mainland; free on orders over £500 (ex-VAT) to UK mainland.
  • Non-mainland/remote (e.g., Highlands & Islands, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands): surcharges apply and are shown at checkout or quoted.
  • Plaster products: delivery is calculated at checkout based on distance from our Birmingham workshop (hand delivery).
  • Re-delivery: If no one is available to receive and sign, goods return to our workshop. Re-delivery/collection is chargeable at our standard rate as quoted.

4. Delivery protocol, photos & inspection

  • A responsible person must be present to receive the goods; our driver will require a signature upon delivery.
  • For proof of correct delivery, our driver will take time-stamped images of the goods as delivered (condition, location/placement). These images are used solely for delivery verification and disputes handling.
  • Privacy: we avoid capturing people or private areas wherever possible. Images are processed under our legitimate interests in proof-of-delivery, retained for up to 12 months (longer only if a query or dispute is ongoing), then deleted. Please check quantities and condition at delivery/collection. Report any issues within 48 hours with photos.

  • Plaster: minor surface scuffs/hairline nibs that are invisibly repairable during installation are considered normal. Material loss, broken sections, pattern loss or impact damage are defects and we’ll put them right.

5. Returns – Plaster (made-to-order)

  • Plaster items are bespoke/made to order and not eligible for change-of-mind returns (Consumer Contracts Regulations exemption).
  • If we supply the wrong item, we’ll exchange or refund at no cost.
  • For faults/damage, we will repair, replace, or refund as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Returns – Lightweight products

Consumers

  • 14-day cooling-off period from delivery to cancel (unused, in resalable condition).
  • You’re responsible for return shipping (or we can arrange collection at our courier cost which we’ll confirm in writing first).
  • We may deduct for diminished value if the goods were handled beyond what’s needed to inspect them.
  • Faulty/incorrect items: we’ll repair, replace or refund and cover return costs.

Business customers

  • Change-of-mind returns accepted within 30 days of delivery if unused and in resalable condition. A 20% handling charge applies.
  • If you ask us to collect, collection is chargeable at cost (quoted case-by-case).

7. Part returns & over-ordering

  • We don’t accept part returns of plaster where over-ordering occurred (made to order). For lightweight goods, part returns are accepted as above.

8. Order cancellation before dispatch

  • Plaster (made-to-order): Cancellation after order is placed may incur up to 30% (or the value of work done to date if higher). If you cancel within 3 hours of ordering, we’ll waive the charge where production hasn’t begun.
  • Lightweight products: If cancelled before dispatch, we’ll refund in full. If already booked with a carrier, we can’t refund the shipping charge.

9. Liability & installation

  • Ensure suitable storage (flat, dry, ventilated; do not stack or lean), and competent installation. We aren’t liable for damage caused by improper storage, handling, site conditions, or third parties.
